The Twins finished last season 51-111 with the worst record in baseball. They brought in a new GM and a new coaching staff. Starting with new Hitting Coach Mark McGwire coming over from the Rangers and Scouting Director Andrew Friedman formerly of the Blue Jays on November 11th, the team went through a large overhaul of all coaching staff, including MLB manger Russell Branyan looking to make finish his first season managing in the MLB after a 34-game stint in Tampa Bay. The team also locked up star right fielder, Dan Crawford for 5 years, with the hopes that his presence will bring out the fans and bring some much needed fun to the locker room.
