Rangers All-Star Break Update

Why don’t we keep this short and simple. To win you need pitching and my team quite simply has not pitched well at all. Cosart, Ogando, and Rosenthal were huge disappointments which led to 2 of them being replaced and moved into the ‘pen. The Rotation should be, dare I say terrific, during the 2nd half of the season with Kershaw, Bumgarner, Darvish, and the lone pitching star of the first half Neftali Feliz now manning most of the team’s starts.

On offense, the team has excelled led by perhaps the best players in the leagues at their respective positions in Jesus Montero and Jurickson Profar. The team has also received solid performances from Justin Morneau, Mitch Moreland and Ryan Gennett.

The team is heading into the All-Star break 10GB out of a playoff spot and in dire need of a hot streak. Texas will feature a major league leading 5 All-stars in the upcoming all-star game. A sign that the team does have talent to compete.

Let’s go Rangers!
