The Detroit Tigers returned to their championship ways with a victory over the San Francisco Giants. Here’s to an amazing year and with their current crop of young players and excellent management, the trend looks to continue.

In a deal that has turned the baseball world on its ear, the Rockies have traded 30-year-old reliever Burke Badenhop, 29-year-old shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and 25-year-old minor league center fielder Brett Jackson to the Tigers for 29-year-old first baseman Prince Fielder. None of the players could immediately be reached for comment. Fans in Colorado and Detroit couldn’t believe it. However, baseball analysts at BNN all agreed that this was a good deal for both ball clubs.
During his career Tulowitzki has hit .290 with 969 hits, 160 home runs, 561 RBIs and scored 559 runs.
In 1322 career games, Fielder has put up a .290 average, collected 266 doubles, 10 triples, and 299 home runs, driven in 863 runs, and scored 775 times.

The Nationals sent 20 game winner Stephen Strasburg to the mound while the Rockies sent 19 game winner Kris Medlen who was acquired from the Atlanta Braves prior to the 2013 trade deadline.
